GROUPE IDEC INVEST LEASES OUT THE FIRST BUILDING ON THE NEW THESEE DATACENTER CAMPUS, A NEW 100% FRENCH SOLUTION

This new campus project promoted by THÉSÉE DATACENTER, A NEW FRENCH webhoster, is situated to the west of Paris 20 minutes from La Défense, on a 3-hectare site. It also contributes to an energy efficiency approach with the highest energy level: a PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of 1.20 that is to say 35% lower power consumption than the most recent datacenters. “Our datacenter campus now offers a 100% French alternative to economic players wishing to secure their data and IT production, and all this for the most attractive cost,” explains Christophe BOUNIOL, President of Thésée DataCenter.

GROUPE IDEC INVEST - GROUPE IDEC’s real estate and professional investment specialist - entrusted the construction of this new building to IDEC, the logistics, industrial and service real estate design and construction specialist. The works began in May 2020, and the first building on the THÉSÉE DATACENTER campus was handed over in June 2021 in Aubergenville (78). This building has a built area of 2,700 sq.m and houses 1,000 sq.m of servers and 3 levels of offices. This first building on a campus comprising 6 neutral and standalone datacenters will be classified level TIER IV, the highest possible level for a datacenter concerning its availability and the reliability of its hosting capability. It is the second Data Center in France and the first in the Paris region to have this level and to be pooled between several users.

GROUPE IDEC INVEST is involved in this Data Center project with a twofold investment: in the real estate and in the capital of THÉSÉE DATACENTER. This project’s innovative approach promotes a 100 % French solution and ensures data security. “This new-generation Data Center’s virtuous approach finds its full meaning in the responsible approach adopted by GROUPE IDEC to imagine, plan, develop, design and build working spaces fully integrated in their environment”, explains Lionel MARY, CEO, GROUPE IDEC INVEST. This first Data Center project allows GROUPE IDEC to strengthen its expertise in a new type of building and, eventually, to develop this new offering in France and abroad.
